Hearing Australia — answering ten hearing aid questions

Hearing Australia's how-to films hadn't been remade since the nineties, and they looked it — dated, and pitched only at the oldest people in the room. I illustrated, storyboarded and animated all ten, covering everything from changing a battery to fitting a custom earmould: a flat illustrated world, close-up hand animation for the fiddly steps, and captions under every line of voiceover. Each film runs about a minute and holds one idea at a time, so nothing gets lost between steps. Hearing loss doesn't wait until you're old, and the Hearing Australia How-To Series no longer assumes it does.
