Macquarie University — sixty years in one letter

Macquarie turned 60, and I made the campaign's animated signature: 'Celebrating 60 years with (YOU)us', where the O in YOU keeps swapping out for a different decade, from heart-shaped sunnies and a peace sign to a Rubik's cube, a floppy disk, a Game Boy and a VR headset. I drew the whole icon set from scratch and animated each one landing inside the same letterform before the piece resolves on the university's lighthouse crest. Beyond the anniversary work I've illustrated a cast of students for them, hand-drawn in Macquarie red and animated into a wide looping banner, and turned out event posters, brochures and social templates along the way. Sixty years of pop culture, all funnelled through a single vowel.
